Dr Ros Debenham has been in General Practice in Exmouth and Lympstone for 21 years and specializes in psychology in relation to self confidence, self esteem, motivation and weight loss.

CHEMICAL PEELS

 Dr Ros Debenham who is an Idependant Practitioner at Remedies provides this procedure for the Precision Peeling System which is a ‘next-generation clinical treatment system’ that invigorates sun damaged skin, assists in the treatment of pigmentation, and helps treats acne. It is has been produced & researched in Australia and is a market leader.

GENUINE DERMAROLLER TM THERAPY

Dr Ros Debenham is and Independant Practitioner who has a practice at the Remedies clinic provides Genuine Dermaroller treatment.

This is a procedure that produces Natural Skin Regeneration & Scar Repair resulting in smoother, brighter, healthier, naturally younger-looking skin. It is the only procedure that can go right up to the eyelid margins.

Genuine Dermaroller TM Therapy was launched in the UK in April 2009 but has been used in the US for some years. It can dramatically improve the appearance of sun-damaged skin, facial and lines, wrinkles, stretch marks, hand rejuvenation, the decollete and acne skin.

It is suitable for all skin types and tones. It works by producing thousands of microscopic needle columns in the dermis of the skin that stimulate the skin to regenerate and repair itself naturally and safely.

Straight after the skin looks mildly to moderately sunburnt yet normally recovers the same-day with only little residual redness the following day. DERMAL FILLERS

Dr Ros Debenham who is an Idependant Practitioner at Remedies provides Dermal fillers and these are used to restore loss of volume in the face& correct wrinkles which do not respond to anti-wrinkle injections.

Juvéderm® ULTRA, when injected, plumps up lines and creases from the underside using substances that are found naturally in the supporting layer of the skin.

Generally this form of treatment is best suited to lines on the cheeks and around the mouth, and the effect is maintained for 6 to 12 months.

Other uses of dermal fillers are for:

• Lip enhancement and the creases around the upper lip
• The crease between the nose & mouth
• The corner of the mouth when it has a down-turned appearance
• The general creases in the lower half of the face.

A topical local anaesthetic is used along with the finest of needles and the filler itself actually contains local anaesthetic. Bruising may occur with some initial swelling but theses can be minimized using Auriderm cream. The results are instant ...and natural
looking.

ANTI-WRINKLE INJECTIONS AND HYPERHYDROSIS

Dr Ros Debenham who is an Independant Practitioner at the Remedies clinic provides these anti-wrinkle injections. Her clients often complain of unsightly lines and wrinkles on the face.

In particular these are the frown lines between the Eyebrows (the ‘glabellar’ area), horizontal forehead creases and the smile lines at the outer corners of the eyes – the crow’s feet.

In your free consultation I will discuss which areas you want targeted. The rationale of treatment is to temporarily weaken the muscles in these areas that pull on the skin. The effects last from 3-6 months. The time between injections becomes longer as the muscle is made weaker with non-useage. The skin is like a piece of paper..if it creased too many times the creases become permanent so it is important to start treatments before the wrinkles become permanent.

The treatment is a prescription only medicine (PoM) (so cannot be named) That must be prescribed by a doctor and requires specialist cosmetic training to administer.

The injections are carried out using the finest of needles with an anaesthetic applied to the skin surface. The results come on within 2 to 14 days. Rarely there is bruising but this can be reduced with ice & Auriderm creams.

If your wrinkles have been around for some time anti-wrinkle injections may not go completely and you may want some Dermal fillers. Often patients start with Chemical Peels that delay the need for anti-wrinkle treatment.

Hyperhydrosis can be helped by temporarily paralysing the muscles that control sweat secretion. It requires multiple tiny injections in both armpits.
