There are a number of Acne Treatments using drugs and some of these can have some serious side effects e.g. depression especially in younger people.

However, at Remedies we do the best acne treatment that we think is available, using the renowned NLITE Laser combined with the high quality products we use.

We invested some years ago in an N-LITE laser. This has been featured in national press, medical journal the Lancet,  television and has given us some great Acne and Acne Scar Treatment results.

It is a common fallacy that acne only affects teenagers as it can affect men and women of all ages and Acne is recognised by the medical profession as one of the most common and stubborn skin problems.

Regardless of skin type or lifestyle, approximately 80% of the population will suffer from acne and want an acne treatments at some point in their lives. Yet many clients fail to respond adequately to the current acne treatment options.

Others can develop problematic side effects and more importantly the cost, duration and sometimes side effects of their acne treatment using topical medications, drugs and oral antibiotics, make standard therapy far from ideal.

N-LITE Laser Acne Treatment and How it Works

The N-Lite Laser system uses laser energy to both calm down the acne and spots and also can reduce the visible effect of acne scars. The acne and spot treatment is virtually painless. The light therapy using the NLite Laser is not always the most suitable for all clients and that is where our other acne care product based treatments come in.

High intensity yellow laser light is pulsed onto the skin of the affected area. Most clients describe the sensation of treatment as "like an intermittent jet of warm water". The Laser energy penetrates into the deeper layers of the skin helping to kill acne bacteria deep within the skin.


We normally recommend you have 3 N-LITE acne treatments, one each month, over a 3 month period. The acne and spot treatment is quite quick and most sessions last approximately 30 minutes. During the treatment period, you work in association with your skincare therapist by taking advice and guidance on your homecare regime and acne care products that you put on your skin.

How Much Does It Cost?

We do not normally quote prices prior to a laser consultation because we treat everyone as being unique and that includes their skinand their expectations.

You will need toattend a laser consultation before any treatment is actually carried out where we asssess your skin and requirements.We will explain everything involved and answer any skin care questions you may have. We thenrecommend a personalised programme best suited to your acne situation.We will give our very best advice and ifwe genuinely think a laser acne treatment is not appropriate we would thenrecommend an alternative, but it is your choice to make.

In some cases where we genuinely think a laser acne treatment is not appropriate, we will not recommend it and suggest alternative treatments for acne.
